Why is SpiceVids buffering or video not loading?
Buffering issues on SpiceVids most commonly trace to two root causes. The first is VPN protocol selection. SpiceVids' video CDN performs significantly better on UDP-based protocols than on TCP — if your VPN is running OpenVPN over TCP, switching to OpenVPN UDP or WireGuard usually clears buffering immediately. The second is stale browser cache for spicevids.com. The HLS streaming protocol can get into a broken state where the cached manifest is inconsistent with the live stream, causing the "video plays for two seconds then stops" pattern. Clearing site data for spicevids.com (Settings → Privacy → Site Data → spicevids.com → Clear) resolves this. Other less-common causes: browser extensions interfering with the player, especially aggressive ad-blockers; insufficient bandwidth (5+ Mbps required for 1080p); CDN routing issues during regional outages.
